1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Africa HealthTech Summit 2025 (AHTS 2025) through our website, mobile application (Android or iOS), or any other official registration channel, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for the event.
2. Registration Terms
2.1 Registration Confirmation
Your registration is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided during registration. You will also receive a confirmation notification if registered through the mobile application.
2.2 Payment Terms
- Payments must be made online through the official AHTS 2025 registration platform (website or mobile app) using approved payment methods.
- Early Bird Discount: 20% off standard rates for registrations completed and paid by July 31, 2025.
- Group Registrations: Must be completed in one transaction to qualify for the discounted rate.
- All prices are quoted in the currency displayed at checkout.
2.3 Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@dalagroup.africa before September 1, 2025 to be eligible for a refund.
- Refunds will be 80% of the registration fee (20% processing fee applies).
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations after September 1, 2025.
- Cancellation requests can be submitted via email or through the mobile app support feature.
2.4 Substitutions
- Participant substitutions from the same organization are allowed up to 2 weeks before the event.
- Substitution requests must be submitted in writing with details of the replacement participant.
3. Event Modifications
The organizers reserve the right to modify the program, speakers, sessions, venues, dates, or format (including transitioning to virtual or hybrid format) if necessary. Registered participants will be notified of any significant changes via email and mobile app notifications.
4. Force Majeure
If AHTS 2025 is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, or government restrictions), registrations will be:
- Transferred to the rescheduled event date, or
- Refunded at the organizers’ discretion
The organizers are not liable for any additional costs incurred by participants including travel, accommodation, or other expenses.
5. Mobile Application Terms
5.1 Third-Party App Provider
The official AHTS 2025 mobile application (available for Android and iOS) is developed and deployed by Eventify, a third-party service provider. By downloading and using the app, you also agree to Eventify’s terms of service and privacy policy.
5.2 App Functionality
The mobile app provides features including but not limited to:
- Event registration and ticket management
- Schedule and session information
- Networking features
- Push notifications for event updates
- Digital badge and QR code access
5.3 App Requirements
- The app requires an internet connection for full functionality.
- You are responsible for any data charges incurred while using the app.
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 8.0+ or iOS 13.0+
5.4 App Updates
- Updates may be required for continued app functionality.
- Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time.
5.5 Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your app access if you violate these terms or engage in inappropriate behavior.
6. Photography, Filming & Recording
By attending AHTS 2025, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for event-related promotional purposes. This content may be used on:
- Official AHTS websites and social media
- The mobile application
- Marketing materials for future events
- Media publications and press releases
If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify event staff upon arrival.
7. Personal Responsibility
7.1 Travel and Accommodation
Participants are responsible for their own:
- Travel arrangements and costs
- Accommodation bookings
- Visa requirements and travel documentation
- Personal travel and health insurance
7.2 Health and Safety
Participants must comply with all health and safety protocols at the venue.
Any specific health requirements or COVID-19 protocols will be communicated prior to the event.
7.3 Conduct
All participants are expected to:
- Behave professionally and respectfully
- Comply with venue rules and regulations
- Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
- Respect intellectual property rights of speakers and exhibitors
Violation of conduct standards may result in removal from the event without refund.
8. Intellectual Property
All content provided during AHTS 2025, including presentations, materials, and recordings, is protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized.
9. Liability Disclaimer
9.1 Event Liability
The organizers, sponsors, and venue are not liable for:
- Personal injury, loss, or damage to property
- Theft or loss of personal belongings
- Technical issues affecting the website or mobile app
- Service interruptions or data loss
9.2 Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for services provided by third parties including Eventify (app provider), payment processors, hotels, or transportation providers.
10. Data Protection
Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering, you consent to data collection as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and mobile app. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Rwandan courts.
